Anti-Bark Dog Training Shock Control

My dog, a miniature Daschund is 14 pounds and the box is a little bit bulky for him. Leave the weight of the box alone. What I did not like were the two episodes I put the collar on my dog. The first time, I got bit. In addition, the tone was set off severally due to his either tags hitting the box, or when talking. This is the first time the dog overlooked the tones and continued barking and he was shocked. This got him upset and I had to remove the collar.

The second time, he still ignored the tone and continued barking. When he was shocked, he stopped barking and now started crying. The shock continued based on his cries. This time I dint remove the collar; I left it for him. He seems to have got used to it and he has how stopped barking. In fact, whenever he barks, I show him the shock collar and he stops barking immediately.

Unfortunately, my happiness was short lived. This is because the batteries went dead after only two weeks—which is a pretty short time.

My husband and I own two Weimaraners. Due to their barking, we did not have a good sleep for two consecutive years. Two dogs used to yelp and howl all night if they were not sleeping on our bed, which was disgusting at some point. Our neighbors could hear all the yelping from our dogs and they had grown to hate us.

At first, I was skeptical of the anti bark collars. This is because I had spent over $150 more than a few years ago at Pestsmart and the collar was very ineffective. Once I saw this one, I said why not to get it for me. After all, it is only under $10. Since we put the collar on our dogs, I can confidently say, we sleep like babies.

In the reviews, someone had mentioned that the collars go off for no reason. Well, I have not witnessed this. What I have observed is that when the dogs wine gently as much as necessary, the collar will not shock them; the bark has to be significant for the shock to react. Every time the dogs are shocked, the collar beeps and I can hear it from my room, so I make out the collar is working fine.

Although, the collars are working well with me, the only problem is the batteries. They run out way too quick!
